Hourly IT Support — No Contract
Break/Fix IT Support in Marietta, Ohio
$75 an hour, no minimums, no retainer. You call when something needs doing, we do it, and that’s the whole arrangement.
What we help with
The things a small business actually calls about — handled on the clock, only when you ask.
Help desk for your staff
Computers, printers, Wi-Fi, and email — Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace. Your people get unstuck and get back to the day’s work.
Passwords, logins & device security
MFA that actually gets enforced, stale accounts cleaned up, machines locked down. The unglamorous work that prevents the bad week.
Backup & recovery guidance
Making sure the records you’d hate to lose are backed up somewhere you can actually get them back from — and that somebody has tested it.
A real local engineer on the phone
No 1-800 number and no phone tree. You call, a person answers, and it’s the person doing the work.
Network & Wi-Fi
Devices that won’t connect, Wi-Fi that drops in the back office, a router nobody has looked at since the day it was installed.
Microsoft 365 & cloud help
Licensing, shared mailboxes, file sharing, and the settings nobody on your team wants to own.
The rate, published
No local competitor publishes their rates. Here’s ours.
The rate
Flat
$75 / hour
Not an introductory rate and not a “starting at.” It’s the number, whether the job is at your office or over a remote session.
Increments
15-minute billing
No minimum
A 20-minute fix is a 20-minute charge. We’d rather send a small invoice than round it up and make you pay for time you didn’t use.
Commitment
None
No retainer
Nothing monthly just to keep the phone line open. Months you don’t call, you don’t pay.
Before we start
A quote, every time
Approved first
You approve the work before we do it. Hardware is billed at cost, and never without your say-so.
Business hours, by appointment — that keeps the schedule sane and the callback honest. Out-of-hours emergencies aren’t something we offer as an hourly service.
Hourly or a monthly plan?
Both are honest answers. It depends on how much of your IT is already quiet.
Hourly makes sense when…
Something broke and you want it fixed. You’re not ready to sign anything monthly. You’ve got a handful of machines, no compliance requirement, and the setup mostly behaves itself.
A plan makes sense when…
You’re tired of reacting. Patching, MFA, tested backups, and monitoring are work that mostly prevents the call — so it never lands on an hourly invoice, because it never turns into an incident.
What a plan really buys
Not cheap hours — predictability. One invoice, the same number, and no month where one rough week costs you $600.
Straight answer on response times
Managed clients come first. Hourly work is best-effort, usually next business day. We’d rather say that plainly than imply a service level we don’t offer.

Frequently asked questions
What does break/fix IT support cost?
$75 an hour, flat, billed in 15-minute increments. No minimum charge and no retainer. Hardware is billed separately at cost, and never without your approval first.
Is there a contract or a monthly minimum?
Nope. No monthly fee to keep us on call, and no minimum hours. You pay for the work you ask for, and nothing in the months you don’t call.
How fast will you respond?
Hourly work is best-effort, usually the next business day. Managed clients come first — that’s part of what a plan buys them. We’d rather say that plainly than imply something we don’t offer.
Do you charge for travel?
Remote work carries no travel charge. We cover Washington County and the Mid-Ohio Valley from Beverly. On-site visits are quoted with the job before we head out.
Can we move to a monthly plan later?
Any time. If you find yourself calling every week, a flat per-device plan usually makes more sense — and the work we’ve already done doesn’t get thrown away.
Is this for businesses or home computers?
This page is for businesses. For a home computer, head to computer repair — a $45 flat tune-up, drop-off, done within a day.
